  • Remove the back cap
    Use the proper back cap wrench to remove the back cap. Back caps unscrew in a counter clockwise direction.
  • Remove the old Turbine
    Sometimes the old turbine will come out with the back cap, other times you'll have to push it out from the bur opening.
  • Remove the old O-rings from the Handpiece
    All handpieces have two o-rings, one for the front bearing and one for the back.
  • Replace the O-Rings
    New o-rings hold the new turbine securely.
  • Press the Turbine into the back cap
    Be sure the rear o-ring is in place first, then press the new turbine into the back cap.
  • Insert the Turbine into the Head
    Carefully insert the new turbine into the head of handpiece. Be sure you've replaced the front o-ring.
  • Tighten the Back Cap
    Hand tighten the back cap, then secure it with the back cap wrench. You are now ready to insert a bur, lubricate and test the handpiece.
